SHOULDER PAIN
The shoulder is the body's most unstable ball and socket joint, with a large range of motion. Shoulder pain can be related to a movement based injury, such as sprain, strain, lifting improperly, prolonged sitting, or overuse in while positioned in poor posture. Shoulder pain can also stem from periods of prolonged non-use, causing adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder).
Other cases can be linked to more specific conditions such as:
-
Labral Tear
-
Rotator Cuff Tendonitis
-
Muscle Strain
-
Ligament Strain
-
Bursitis
-
Impingement
Shoulder pain often goes hand in hand with neck pain, whereas the neck may be referring pain to the shoulder or vice versa.
Our therapists are trained to find the actual cause of your pain, and work closely with your doctors to create the most effective plan of care for fast back pain relief.
